What a great shot if I do say so myself. I'm really only impressed because the camera was simply laying in my lap and I was zooming and or turning the camera slightly in my lap as nonchallantly as possible to avoid problems. Cameras are not to be used, but no flash was used in any of these shots...that would've been a dead give away.

Liz was our guide for three days. She is a professor of Christian Art and Architecture at an American University in Rome. The US State Dept. calls her to lead their tours for people like Presidents and Congressional delegations etc. Father Branigan and Liz met when they first arrived in Rome 10 years ago and have become friends. Liz gifted our group with her expertise in honor of Father Branigan's ordination.

My shots of the Sistine were all taken from placing the camera in my lap and randomly shooting around. I had NO idea what I was going to get and am glad for the quality of shots I did get. There is a prohibition on using cameras in the Sistine, so none of the shots were taken with a visual of the subject. I took one of the Resurrection wall but it was too blurry for this collection, so I found this one and borrowed it.
