We didn't ask the right questions when we first sat down...do you take credit cards? Or travelers checks? After dinner when we got the handwritten bill on a yellow note pad did we ask. Too late. Cash only US dollars or Pesos, NO exceptions. Well there was an exception that night since it was a $50 travelers check or we would've been washing the dishes. The girl finally through much 'esta bien' assurances took the travelers check and gave us change. We quickly hit the bricks, or dirt road in this case and were out of there before she changed her mind. Another Mexican experience.

What a long day it had been, neither one of us had eaten more than some nuts I'd brought along for snacking on our way to La Paz. We were in La Paz for 3 hours in a meeting and then back on the road again, no food since breakfast. An hour later coming back through TS we finally were going to eat.
