There are Three Photos from WWII of Jewish Partisans or the "Resistance". The other five photos are of Palestinians who are part of Hamas. They are all labeled "Terrorists". In explanation of these photos. I put them together in this manner making them look old and not in color to emphasize how similar they all are. If I had looked at these not knowing when they were taken I would have guessed they were ALL from WWII era or earlier. It is my hope that whoever looks at these mosaics will find reason to pause and ponder the current situation in the middle east...looking at them certainly has caused me to sit up and take notice.

At top left is a photo of a Mosque destroyed by Israeli Bombs in 2009. Next to it is a photo of a Synagogue destroyed by the Germans in WWII. The top right photo is of present day Palestinians behind the Israeli fence which keeps them in the Gaza strip. The two photos directly below are of the Jews behind the wired fences of the death camps. At bottom left are two views of the Warsaw Ghetto Wall(the smallest thumbnail pic is one of these). Below the thumbnail photo and next to it are two current day photos of the Israeli Wall which has sealed the Palestinians into the Occupied Territories of the West Bank and Gaza.

At top left is a photo of Palestinian children at play in present times. The picture on the right is of Jewish children at play in the Lodz Ghetto during WWII. The picture at left center is of Palestinian children behind one of the fences erected by the Israeli Government. The photo at the right center is of children fenced in near one of the checkpoints at the Lodz ghetto. At bottom left is an IDF soldier aiming at Palestinians in this present day. At bottom right are Jewish women and children being forced out of the Warsaw Ghetto to be deported to one of the death camps.

The photos of Gaza are dated 2009. The photos of the Warsaw Ghetto were taken when the German SS burned it to the ground following the Jewish uprising.

The two photos at left are of the WWII deportations of the Jews from the Warsaw Ghetto at top left and the Lodz Ghetto bottom left. The four photos on the right are all of the Palestinians and their al-Nakba when they were removed from their homes to the camps in 1948. The two smallest photos are of Palestinian women in Gaza during the recent Israeli bombing.
